Here at Pers Removals we believe every move is individual and needs to be planned individually to your specific needs. Therefore we always recommend you to book one of our move consultants to visit you at your house for a FREE NO OBLIGATION QUOTATION a few weeks in advance.
We find this saves home movers any unexpected surprises on the big day as this enables us to plan your move accurately to the best of our knowledge by bringing all factors into consideration, such as the suitable size of truck and the number of staff required for your move, parking solutions as well as access to/from your properties for larger items that may require disassembly or perhaps hoisting through the windows.
Most importantly providing you with a personal meeting with our experts to ask your questions related to the move and discuss your inquiries. We will then send you a written quotation the following day, via email and post.
On the morning of your big day our crew will arrive at your premises when you will be allocated with one of our foremen who will introduce the crew to you. Your foreman will be your main point of contact during your move. He will ask you to accompany him and the crew around your house while we make notes of your requirements which enable the crew to follow your instruction step by step.
The first step of preparation is to then cover all your flooring with a layer of floor protection. This is a cling film that lays on top of your carpet/flooring to keep them clean. Antiques and glass furniture will be export wrapped in fine packing materials. Any furniture which requires disassembly will be disassembled so we can relocate them to your new home where we will then reassemble everything there.
All mattresses and sofas will be protected using heavy duty padded covers. The removal team will then start loading your precious household goods carefully into the vehicles and making sure all your furniture is covered with transit blankets.
Once the removal team arrive at your new house they will start unloading the vehicle making sure all the boxes are located to the correct rooms and all furniture is reassembled properly in the right spots in each room.
